If selected for mandatory randomized testing, fully vaccinated travellers will not be required to quarantine while awaiting their test result. If a fully vaccinated traveller receives a positive result, they will be required to isolate for a period of ten days.
Unless otherwise exempt, all travellers eligible to enter Canada who do not qualify as fully vaccinated will continue to be tested with COVID molecular tests on arrival and on Day 8, while they quarantine for 14 days.
This does not include partially or unvaccinated children under 12 accompanying fully vaccinated eligible adults who are no longer subject to quarantine requirements.

Providing proof of a previous positive molecular test will prevent eligible travellers from being selected for mandatory randomized testing.
